What is Shop Small Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after US Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. Conceived by American Express, it is day dedicated to paying special attention to small businesses and their contribution to communities and the economy. It is an effort to support local shops that make our communities strong. American Express launches Small Business Saturday to encourage people to Shop Small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses.
