Jackson Pack N Ship of Jackson MI was established in 1997 on the south west of town. We are Wayne and Kelly Sowers and we purchased the business March 14, 2005. Both of us worked in an aerospace manufacturing plant before quitting the day job to become packaging and shipping experts! That exciting and nervous day will be remembered as the day we took the plunge into becoming mid-aged entrepreneurs! We are very happy we did.
Believe it or not, our manufacturing background has been a useful tool to grow the business. We use our knowledge of “lean manufacturing”, S.W.O.T., and statistical process control for analyzing our business processes and quality of service.
We appreciate sponsoring and participating in community based charities such as United Way and the Girl Scouts. We also belong to groups such as Business and Professional Women, Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Jackson Arts and Cultural Alliance.
Nothing mentioned above compares to the referrals we get on a daily basis from our customers for whom we are very grateful and are pleased to call our friends. We have the privilege of seeing many regular customers often and enjoy greeting them by name as they enter the store.
